Using Advanced Variables

Using advanced variables can be used for example to add a different class to your first Item.

To add a new variable make sure you are in the HTML tab.

Click the "Add Variable" button.

Since i want to add the variable only to my first item i will click on the check box "Value for First Item".

Add a Name to the variable.

Input the data in the field that opens up.

Click the "Add Variable" button.

Stand in the HTML where you want the variable to be added to the first item.
Click on the variable on the left panel and it will be added to the HTML.

Click the "Update" button to save.
Now when you inspect element in the front end you will see that your custom Variable is added to the first item in the list.
